You will know the struggle of searching for an entry-level role that requires no experience its nearly impossible! We have created 7 tips to improve your employability and help you land a job with little experience! 1. Be Realistic With no relevant work experience and an eagerness to advance, you may be tempted to apply for jobs completely  out of your skillset and capability. However, this  is likely to waste your own time as well as the potential employers. If you want to better your chances, you will need to look for entry-level positions. Jobs that will provide you with training and the opportunity for career progression. 2. Demonstrate your passion in other ways If you have an interest in the job  area show it! What you lack in work experience you can make up for 3. Put yourself out there Sell yourself in an interview because nobody else will! Learning to do this and finding the right balance between confidence and arrogance will help you excel within your next job application and potential interview. Dont be afraid to connect and network with those in your chosen sector of work. Send them LinkedIn invitations with an attached message asking them for any advice theyd recommend  to help you start your career. Most people will appreciate your eagerness and offer you that valuable advice! 4. Keep updated Stay informed and up-to-date with all of the latest industry news and insights. Through gaining more knowledge about your chosen area of work, you will become familiar  with any technical jargon or buzzwords that employers may use in an interview. This will impress the potential employer and demonstrate that whilst you may lack work experience, you are interested in the actual role and to you, its not just a job. 5. Hands-on experience 6. Perfect your CV A rushed CV is unlikely to grab the hiring managers attention. They want to be wowed  and this cant be achieved if you dont put the effort into creating a real standout CV. Express your capability through stating what you do have, rather than what you dont. Whether this is in the form of experience in other sectors, you can use your soft skills (communicational, teamwork, etc) and transfer them into the potential new role. 7. Be honest Recruiters and hiring managers are likely to appreciate a little bit of honesty when understanding your current job level status. When composing your cover letter, explain that whilst you dont have the experience (as of yet), you are willing to work hard and be committed towards the new role. As long as the job you are applying for matches your qualified level, your transparency will not go unnoticed. Read other blog posts focused on helping those with no experience find a job here
